Each fall, Plano West hosts PWMUN, a two-day Model United Nations conference designed to provide an immersive and engaging experience for delegates of all skill levels. Through a variety of General Assembly, Specialized, and Crisis Committees, delegates will tackle pressing global issues, refine their public speaking abilities, and develop strong diplomatic skills—all within an exciting and fast-paced conference setting.
At PWMUN IV, we emphasize critical thinking, adaptability, and collaboration, encouraging delegates to step into the roles of world leaders, policymakers, and historical figures. Whether resolving international conflicts in traditional committees or navigating high-stakes scenarios in crisis rooms, participants will leave with a deeper understanding of global affairs and negotiation strategies.
Our conference is an excellent opportunity for both new and experienced delegates to sharpen their debate, negotiation, and leadership skills in a professional yet welcoming environment. With an emphasis on engaging discussions and real-time problem-solving, PWMUN IV prepares students for the unpredictable and ever-changing world of diplomacy.
